Michael Palumbo

Michael Palumbo (MA, BFA) is an artist and researcher interested in distributed creativity, human/nonhuman agency, collaborative design, and tinkering.

He is a PhD student in Theatre & Performance Studies at York University, and a member of the Distributed Performance and Sensorial Immersion Laboratory.

May 2017 - A couple updates!

I will be performing a noise meditation as part of practice at Never Apart in Montreal on June 10, and was interviewed for it

The following day on June 11, I will be presenting my new piece Data Issues: Please See Attachment (2017) at Brasserie Beaubien. Cover is $6 (suggested) PWYC & NOTAFLOF.

November 2016 - The proceedings from NIME2016 are finally out. You can read our paper from the conference here

April 2016 - My supervisor Doug Van Nort, colleague Ian Jarvis, and I were accepted to present a paper at the 2016 NIME conference in Brisbane, Australia. 

March 2016 - I got accepted into the PhD program in Theatre & Performance Studies at York University!
